Our Story
How we got here
Every wedding is really the middle of a longer story. Before Autumn & Roman say their vows, here's a little of ours — how it started, where it's been, and the question that brought us to January.
How we met
We shared countless lunches together at the same table in high school, our lives intersecting in the most beautiful way. Though our paths drifted apart after sophomore year, fate brought us back together in 2021, reintroducing us through new friend circles. From that moment on, we've been inseparable, our connection growing stronger with each passing day.
The night we first started dating, we found ourselves lost in conversation, sitting together on the trunk of our car under a canvas of twinkling stars, sharing our dreams, hopes, and everything that filled our hearts.
The first date
Our first official date was a magical night, an MGK concert in Nashville, where the music and excitement filled the air. I still remember the thrill of riding electric scooters together in the rain to get to the concert, the adventure and laughter we shared creating an unforgettable experience.
This trip was not only our first official date, but also our first time traveling together and flying on an airplane, a milestone that marked the beginning of our many adventures to come.

We made the move to the city in search of better opportunities, not just for ourselves, but also for our children, hoping to provide them with a brighter future.

Not a house but a HOME
We took a significant step together when we purchased our first family home, a wonderful community that we love, where we can build a life and create memories with our family.

Popped the question
I got down on one knee, a moment that will forever be etched in my heart.
The engagement
While on our trip to Big Island, Autumn was not aware that alongside our clothes packed for the trip was a box containing her future engagement ring. While she did not see it coming, I could sense that she was ready for the moment to happen. I had to devise a plan that would not raise suspicion; I suggested an adventure to take photos of the island on a disposable camera we packed for the trip. I took Autumn to the lava rock cliffs by the ocean, asked her to look at the ocean while I took her picture, but when she turned around, I was on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage.
